I am a retired instructor of the Miami College Doula Certified Program and Graduate. I am Certfied in these special areas: Dona Birth Doula, CAPPA  Childbirth Educator, March of Dimes Continuing Education Program called "Kids Having Kids", Lactate Counselor, Hypno-Birthing Counselor, Basic Family Planning and Waterbirth Instructor. I held the position of midwife assistant for more than 16+ years at a local Birthing Center and enjoyed every minute of it. I've been in the mommie/baby/daddy business for over 30 years and 500+ births. It was my pleasure to work directly with a GYN doctor and many midwifes that taught me what I know today about Natural Birthing for home or hospital.  I'm pleased to say that I still have connections in this field for me to be able to recommend local midwifes and doulas. I've been a Placenta Encapsulation Specialist for 12 years. I'm also trained in the Chinese Traditional Method way by being placenta friendly.
